Dear Mr. Traeger,

I recently purchased one of your Texas Style Traeger pellet grills. As a member of a barbecue team which competes in contests in and around the Midwest (Kansas & Missouri mostly), I am always considering how to better our equipment. The mess and hassle of charcoal and the clean up issues are just some reasons, but the most important one was my need to find a way to get more sleep during contests. I first saw the Traeger grill at the Kansas City American Royal Barbecue contest in September 1998. The feature of the Traeger pellet that attracted me was the automatic delivery of pellets, thus eliminating the need for someone staying up all night tending the smoker. I enjoy barbecue contests and I can party with the best of them, but I need some sleep. So I finally decided to invest in a Traeger pellet grill.
